R32 – The raiders of the Hidden Temple
Howdy folks. R32 is a smaller update than usual, but it packs a quite a punch. There’s a lot of cool stuff to check out in the store, like new Hidden Temple accessories and content, plus two new related blueprints, all of which are guaranteed to have you itching for a bag of sand. Aside from that, there’s a whole slew of improvements and bugfixes that’ll make your Creativersing much more pleasant.
R31 – Character Customization & Blueprint Bonanza!

Some of the best parts of Creativerse have been shaped by your feedback, so we’re excited to announce yet another awesome feature based on your suggestions: character customization! Click the settings icon on the main menu to put your own unique spin on your Creativerse character. To help bring it to life, we’ve updated our character models with some fresh faces, plus new gear and animations.
Once your uniquely customized avatar is ready for action, be sure to to check out the new blueprint crafting tab. We think blueprints are a bunch of fun, so we moved them out of the store and made them free for everyone. We’ve also added a bunch of new blueprints, and the option to buy all the blocks if you want to get started building your Mushroom House or Cragwood Keep instantly.

R30 – Social Worlds!
Hello again, Creatifriends!
It’s fun to play together! Whether you’re diving through dangerous caves, collaborating on epic creations, or going toe-to-toe with a trio of Trogs, fun stuff’s even more fun when you’re playing with friends. In R30 we’re introducing a new way to play together: Social Worlds!
Social worlds are active multiplayer worlds that are served up on demand, allowing anyone to quickly and effortlessly start playing with others. We take care of setting up new social worlds as needed, so all you need to do is click the new ‘Join Public World’ button on the main menu and you’re ready to play.
R29 – STAKE YOUR CLAIM!
Hey Creatifriendos!
Have you ever wanted the freedom to invite people to your world without worrying about them stealing your stuff? Do you wish you could participate on public worlds but are leery of TNT-wielding griefers? Then this update is for you! Our new claim system* is designed to give you complete control over a small plot of land. Anyone can swing by and admire your building prowess, but only those you deem worthy can touch your stuff.
Now claims are just like cookies — they go better with milk — and in this case the milk is our other exciting new feature: MAPS! Press M to open your very own world map and see where others are milling about, where all the popular claims are and where that pesky jungle is hiding.
Creativerse R28 – Tutorial System and Free Blocks
Hey Creatifriends!
This update is all about helping our newer players get down the basics so they can move onto everything else Creativerse has to offer. You know, like grisly deaths at the hands feet gyrating curves of Hotfoot. Now tips will drop in and guide you through the essentials, like crafting a wood power cell or a processor. If you’re a Creativeteran, these will be turned off for you by default (though you can turn them back on with the console if you’re curious).

R27 – The Quality of Life Update
UI be a little more helpful. Night be a little less dangerous. Bugs be a little less buggy.
That’s R27 in a nutshell.
Behind the scenes, we moved to a new office, took time off for the holidays and have been laying the groundwork for features that won’t be ready for a while. In other words, we acknowledge R27 isn’t as meaty as you’re used to. R28 will have more stuff!
R26 – Holiday Surprise!

Welcome to all of the new players who joined us since we became free to play! We’re glad you found us and hope you stick around.
The end of year holidays may have chilled our usual 2-3 week cadence for releases a bit, but on the bright side, they also gave us a chance to try something new: seasonal goodies! There is, quite frankly, a plethora of stuff with which you can deck your halls. Recipes, accessories, a new liquid (molasses), craftable items — everything but a partridge in a pear tree (would you settle for a Leafi in an Elderwood?). As a cherry on top, we’ve given everyone 450 extra coins, and any new players will start with the same amount. Watch this video to get a taste for all the new stuff…
R25 – Freeeeedooooom!
Creativerse is finally free!
It’s time to open the gates and let everyone in. Now’s a great chance to invite all your friends to your world so you can show off your builds, inspiring simultaneous feelings of awe and jealousy.
New in R25 is the ability to purchase coins through your Steam wallet. There’s also four new block packs in the store to spend those coins on. But remember, all you early supporters just received a big coin bonus. PS: All coins (your existing and new ones) have been spiked with a 10x multiplier, because bigger is better (it’s a tradition here in Texas).
Keep in mind, Creativerse will still be in early access for a while yet, so expect more great things to come in the future. In the short term, we’ll continue to focus on building out the core game.

R24 – Leafi’s Lumite Lunchery
Hi Creatifriends,
Great news for all you builders and collectors out there. We’ve added 10 new pieces of furniture and 22 new food recipes! We figured the game just wouldn’t be complete without the ability to lounge in style on a Lumite Chair while munching on a Tar Sandwich (P.S: Your pets just called… they can haz some?).
This update also contains the start of a better experience for new players. Our goal is to strike a balance between being mysterious enough that there’s still plenty of discovery, while also gently encouraging new players not familiar with the genre. So there’s better item descriptions, a clearer quickbar, and things like that, as well as a new “Janky House” starter Blueprint you’ll receive upon creating a world.
We appreciate all the feedback you guys had on the recipe tweaks from R23 and have further refined the balance based on it. Finally, we’ve removed the daily coin button. You can read more about that here.
